Historically, a pelican will pluck a feather from its breast and nourish young chicks with its own blood when no food is available. The late Dr. Samuel U. Rodgers spent a lifetime as an OB/GYN physician, caring for mothers and their young, and always made sure they had access to healthcare. He left a legacy; and today, the staff at the Samuel U. Rodgers organization continues his mission and vision by providing quality, compassionate healthcare for all.
